Overall poor reviews for these boots and other new styles from them. Their original stuff is good tho.

Do these hold up to a downpour? That's my main concern with shoes that claim to be "waterproof" as some don't.

i cant really find any reviews on this specific boot but it doesn't look like it has ever been $145 and the actual traction/grip on the "rubberlon" outsole doesn't look very deep so it may not last long. These look like they are more designed for casual use and not actual work work.

Being serious, though, I've seen a lot of guys who do carpentry and mostly indoor work wearing boots similar to these. I guess if you just want ankle support and full-grain leather they're not a bad idea. Don't expect to be pouring concrete all day and hope that sole lasts.
