Reference cinema seems to be entry level, still worth it even tho it's not reference cinema premium line?

Well that's only one of the limitations.
Keep in mind these are satellites with enabled Atmos modules.
Proper placement for optimal performance is a challenge in the average home.
Even then how well they perform is very subjective.

The majority of the cost is going to the AVR, it should be the other way around ime.

Honestly, yeah the Reference Cinema line is entry level, but for the price it's still a really good setup. The main differences between this and the higher "Reference Premiere" line are the build materials and overall output, but for movies it still performs great. If you're coming from a soundbar or older speakers, this is going to feel like a big upgrade in clarity, dynamics, and bass. And the fact that it includes the RZ30 for $1,199 makes it one of the best value bundles out there. It's a great starter system, and you can always upgrade the fronts or center later if you want. For now, it's definitely worth it for the money.

Its a strange combo, most people interested in the rz30 wouldnt hook up entry level speakers to it, and the receiver itself has gone for 800-900 in the past few months, so one must ask are the speakers worth 300-400 dollars to you if you had bought the receiver separately in a previous sale

To me, I think it's just another way to offload the RZ30 from stores (and possibly speakers that aren't selling).

I called it last year: the fact that the similar Onkyo 7100, RZ50, and Integra DRX 3.4 were available dirt cheap and co-existed w/the RZ30 in its debut guaranteed it couldn't charge the high MSRP for even a full year!
