You can really put these anywhere since they are diffused. They won't look spotty and too bright like an exposed light strip would. That being said, I'll probably use them to put behind furniture (desk, sofa, bed, etc) to illuminate the walls behind them.

Govee Glide RGBIC wall lights are a diffused accent set for wall art, behind furniture, or gaming setups, with colors that can add ambience without the harsh look of exposed strips. They work well with other Govee lighting and can sync through Dreamview with Govee TV lights to react to the screen. The $35 price is described as normal, though the kit includes only six bars and two connectors, so longer layouts may need extra sets. The six piece design also limits daisy chaining beyond the intended length.

Designs like straight lines or . . . straight lines. Seems like all the setup examples on Amazon are using 8 lights but this only comes with 6?
From the product description -> "Note: This product is a 2-panel Set. Each panel has 3 light sections."

What is the use case for these? I see gaming in the title but I'm struggling to understand where you would put them.
If you have any of the Govee TV lights (with the camera above or below the TV), these will work with that through the Dreamview feature. That makes lights change colors based on your TV screen.

Warning trying to stack these, they are only programmed for the six , so trying to daisy chain or making it longer than six wont work, i learned the hard way.

Do all 6 have to be next to each other, or can we put them on opposite walls?

I was going to get these but discovered through searches that the 2 panels (with 3 sections) don't work independently from each other through Dreamview/govee TV lights. So you can't put one panel on one side of the TV and another panel on the other side of the TV and have them act independently. Bummer.

These do work with dreamview. The guy above said that it doesn't work with dreamview. Have you tried it that way and it work?
