Also I'm not sure what you mean about not being able to "move things to the monitor screen in extend mode", but if you have a PC just hold the windows key and use the arrow keys to move windows from screen to screen. Otherwise just right click the desktop and click "Display settings" (or equivalent) and you can see how your monitors are arranged. It's probably just in a weird spot.
