It's same in horizontal but slightly diff in height. Regular small wind tower is fine. But most of the Water cooler would not fit tight

installed 360mm Razer Hanado Chroma on my 7 9800x3d 2 day ago, used included mounts - works perfect. if you afraid installing this one on AM5 socket you can contact Razer support and they ll send you AM5 bracket for free

It might be motherboard dependent whether the AM4 mounting hardware works fine with AM5 or makes sub optimal contact with the cpu. AMD allows motherboards to have something like less than +/- 0.5 mm of tolerance for the height of the cpu. A motherboard being very close to the limit of the tolerance for cpu height, combined with the very slight height difference between AM4 and AM5, is probably why some say that the AM4 mounting hardware produced poor results on AM5 cpus.
