I don't see any mention of it in the reviews, which are largely positive.

One notable issue mentioned is lack of S3 sleep. Here's Lenovo's response: "Lenovo, like many OEMs, has transitioned to Modern Standby (S0/S2Idle), which unfortunately can result in significant battery drain during suspend, especially on Linux systems."

I have one from that deal. No coil whine. Didn't see much of an issue with the battery. Played some movies in full screen for 6 hours straight. Battery was at 30% after that. It charges via USB-C, so you can always take a power bank as a backup if you expect to be on the move without access to AC power.

Thanks, good to hear. I did hear from another person about supposedly the coil whine. And battery test is likely dependent on what you're using it for. If, which I imagine is the case, most people want this decked up config to run heavy workloads then 57wh might last 5-8 hours max. That might be good enough for many, but my Dell from almost 9 years ago used to give me that for most part of its life. I still get 2.5-3 hours from that Dell today. Expectations would be for the battery to last much longer with today's supposedly more efficient processors. The only processors I'm hearing that offer significant battery life are the 200 v series of intel (lunar lake) and snapdragon elite because they pair/solder the RAM. Lenovo offers a 75wh battery on some models but not on these unfortunately

It's unfortunately gone. It was done in a blink of an eye. I had the time in the cart and thought I'd come pull the trigger in a few hours, and it was gone. https://slickdeals.net/f/18883855-lenovo-thinkpad-p14s-gen-6-laptop-14-ips-amd-ryzen-ai-9-hx-pro-370-64gb-ram-1tb-ssd-win-11-pro-689
