Over the past few weeks it was briefly lower at Abt and was lower for a bit at US military exchanges. Other than that, I haven't seen it lower. This is $0.99 lower than the Costco price on the same item that made the front page yesterday, and shipping is free unlike Costco. I also don't have a Costco membership

My preteen is really hoping for an ipad for a gift this year. Would this be the one to get? It's about the top end of our budget. Will we regret not spending a bit more for Pencil 2 capability?

It was at this price at Best Buy on Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Thankfully they price match themselves so I got $70 back.

It's super fast but rather heavy. It has 6 GB of memory which makes it very capable. The battery lasts about a day.

Make sure you upgrade to the latest iPadOS to get the "Liquid Glass" feature.
With a keyboard attachment (which it has a special port for) it looks and feels almost like a real computer.

If this is near the top of your budget then this is absolutely the one to get.

In general, this is probably close to the best value for the money you will ever get on an iPad.

Does Walmart have the same price guarantee as Best Buy? I got the pink one for my daughter's bday 2 weeks ago for $299, been seeing prices go up and down $274-349.
