That means the possibility of catching fire is "Unknown". The UL2272 certification means the product has been tested, and it won't "catch fire" easily.

Yes, both with or without UL2272 can catch fire, but the one with UL will have a much lower chance of catching fire.

Physically breaking, or breaking down completely.

"I purchased 2 and both only lasted a couple months." EEK!

This means STAY AWAY!

Mind you, the below is only valid if they are indeed M365 factory made scooters. If they are just cheap clones, then disregard everything below.

*IF* these are the OG bird scooters, also known as the xiaomi m365. They don't have a ton of range on them but if you aren't going far, these do great. I have 3 of them that were being trashed from bird. The 9bot clone chips (assuming that's what is in these) can be reprogrammed to enable cruise control, and max speed unlocked (around 20mph). I love my cheap little scooters. So at the price, just know what you're getting. Super basic to get you around easily. Also you can beat on them pretty hard.

For more info and better reviews look up the M365.

They are the exact same thing except for the seat.
I looked briefly and saw recent reviews saying it died within a few months.

4.2 average rating does not matter when there are multiple bad recent reviews.
Challenge is figuring out what the average review is for that seat variant, as the 4.2 average is based off 1900 reviews for all variants

I wish Amazon would re-structure their reviews based upon the item's variant

The Amazon ad says it's passed the cert. Why do you say otherwise?

You have to be careful, because some say they are UL Certified, but in reality, they are just using a UL certified part or component. They make it very misleading on purpose. You need to actually look up the UL number is you really want to verify it.

It cannot ship to NYC, which means either it doesn't have UL2272 or the certification is fake.
FYI: NYC has required Amazon to verify that all scooters shipped to NYC have a valid UL2272 certification.

No, it means on the road you'll feel every bump and everything. Terrible riding experience.
This! I ride a Segway G30LP with 10 inch air-filled self-healing tires, and even with those, every little sidewalk line feels like turbulence. Scooters with solid rubber tires probably have kick backs with chiropractors.

not a review of this scooter, just my experience with solid tires. My old scooter had pneumatic tires and my current one has solid tires, but it also has dual suspension. There's a big difference in vibration with the solid tires, almost to the point where my feet feels tingly/hurt. The dual suspension really doesn't help with the vibration but does help a lot with the bigger bumps vs pneumatic without suspension. For normal street riding, I didn't feel the vibration as much, but this weekend I took it on a paved road that wasn't bumpy but wasn't a smooth road (access road/running/walking road for people and vehicles) and i could immediately feel the difference between my old scooter and the new one. About a mile in is where I started to feel it more throughout my body.
Just something I figured i'd throw in for those interested in scooters with solid tires. I got the Aovopro AP07 which looks identical to this (and a ton of other brands) but comes with dual suspension and a larger 10.5AH battery. I got it on BF for 133 + Tax & free shipping.
