You can actually see in the second picture where they lock at. Every other button lock knife I've had is either open or closed, I just do not understand what usefulness is added by these locked slightly open angles.

I bought these knowing they wouldn't be as nice as the Milwaukee FASTBACK knives, but hoped they could at least resemble them in some fashion. Not only do they come anywhere close to the reliability and quality, but it's impossible to whip it open with one hand, even with a heavy wrist flick.
Very disappointed in the quality of these.

Having said that, I don't think I'd have gotten them again, even for around $2 per knife. The cheap folding utility blade from HF feels better and sometimes gets down to less than $5.
These are going in gloveboxes as backups.
I really like the workpro folding utility knives. I've had mine for several years now and they are still perfect. They are light weight, slim, and durable. After a bit of use the folding action is smooth as butter. I also like the deep carry pocket clip. I have the stainless steel button lock version, the also make a black liner lock version as well. You can get a 3 pack for around $15 on amazon, sometimes they are cheaper on sale. I replaced my Milwaukee fastbacks with these workpro because they are so much slimmer.

They are highly regarded for their one handed flip action and even knife people appreciate them.
