It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Is down payment required?
Not in my case. Just state/local sales tax on the $1100 retail price of each of the handsets. They do a soft pull on credit (SSN required), so you might have a different outcome.

is $125.81 with taxes and fees? It is advertised as $100 for 4 lines + taxes and fees?
Also, did you waive off the activation fee after buying the plans or before that?
You have to chat them to get the fees waived.

How much more in taxes and fees they charge per month on top of $120 plan, considering no payments for phones. T-mobile never charge me extra so i know what i pay every month fixed price.

Yes you need to be with Verizon for at least 3 months. The last time I did this a year ago I received my prepaid cards within the month, cancelled, and only had to pay 1 month of T service.
Got it, thx. Then pray that T/magenta still offers the "bring your phones and we'll pay them off" when the 90 days run out?

Yup it's a risk but the keep and switch has been around for several years.

Also note that the iphone 17 series is not yet on their device eligibility list. It may be several more months before they add it (as has been in the past for newly released iphones).

That's pretty good, I read everything in the link, thanks for posting it. One thing I don't get though is: when do you have to pay for the 4 phones in full? The moment you port away? Because as soon as you do the port Verizon is going to be like hey you have 4 phones with monthly payments due (offset by device credits) what happens to all of that the moment you port out? Thanks in advance, repped you.

You will eventually get billed by Verizon for the balance, so you will have time to pay it off or dragg it for a few months and pay late fees.

Thanks, do you have tips on if it's possible to get a $300 Verizon gift card for each line maybe by opening each line (with a phone order) separately or something along those lines?

Also, I checked their website, they can change prices anytime on this $25 plan thereby changing the deal, while you'd still need to stay with them for the full 36 months to make the phone "free" (bill credits of $30.52 offsetting installments of $30.52). So, am I missing something? The fact that they could up the price of the plan at any time makes it less reliable than it initially appears...no?
"The fact that they could up the price of the plan at any time makes it less reliable"
Seriously? Do plan price changes affect all customers? If this is true then I'm not switching to Verizon.

Hey, sorry it does say that in their terms and conditions but on the page for the welcome plan it says 3 year price guarantee

It seems like billing starts as soon as phone is received and not until its activated. They shipped the phones and email says billing will start. Is this accurate ? I was hoping to activate within 14 days and now I am forced to activated. Wasting this month of prepaid service I paid to other carrier. I also received a text from current carrier about receiving porting request. So these people lie to sell you the phones and service. I thought phone line is not ported until you put Sim in new phone
