It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Did anyone get a email after signing up that asked to upload image of driver license, face and proof of address? I thought all was fine after signing up online then noticed the email later in the day asking for this?

Yes, you just have to wait until they are unlocked. After that, what you're suggesting is no different (to Verizon) than if a user lost/broke their phone, and got a new phone to use for the line. As long as you keep the line for 3 years, you should be fine.
Thank you, that is what I thought

I believe that the credit will keep coming as long as the line is open. They don't care whether you use the phone in the line or not. This is based on what I read from my online experience. I did not see anything different.
Appreciate the reply. Thought that as well.

Anyone know the # to text with Verizon customer service? I can't get their website chat to work.

Also, how long do you have to activate when these arrive? At least until Christmas?
My rep told me it's within 4 days after you receive the phones.

Taxes and fees in NY are so high. Now I remember why I left Verizon years ago. Almost $38 per line including taxes and fees based on the $25 plan. Please correct me if I am wrong. thanks

Successfully placed the order. The total, including taxes, was 441. I'm in SoCal for reference. I was also able to get a pop-up for $300 Verizon GC, and a certain blue cashback site is also offering $150 back.
PM? Cbm doesn't show this!

Is this "online only" deal? In WA sales tax is 10.1% so that will be approx $500. Currently I am in Oregon that doesn't have any sales tax just wondering if I can get the same deal in the store.
Not to be a 'aktually' headass, WA state tax is 6.5% and the city tax is XYZ% iirc. Vancouver, WA is basically Portland so just shop in Portland

I switched from Xfinity to Verizon, and I regret it.
Xfinity uses Verizon network.
Verizon is very poor for all of us, never had that issue with Xfinity.
I wish I didn't fell for this 3 year trap and new iPhone offer

Seems like a great deal. Someday I hope one of these deals will work for just 2 lines. According to the promo for this, 2 lines is $95, 3 lines $99, and 4 is 100.

Tldr; if you need priority data, really do your homework. They might bait you in on the free phones but you get zero priority data on this deal.

Doesn't that mean that the gift card is on a per line basis for a total of $1,200 and not a total of $300 for the entire order?

Can someone who has taken advantage of similar promotions shed some light on how to submit the claim for those gift cards?

I can attest to this as well. Yesterday on phone while we were working out quotes with verizon rep, we saw sales tax for any pickup or shipping to WA addresses. OR did not have them. Unfortunately, colors + memory we were looking for weren't in-stock in Gresham and Portland. But I was lucky to get a good rep, they offered to ship it to OR to our mother in law, for whom we are getting the new line for.

I had gotten a better deal from ATT a while back. 80/mo after discounts/promos and 5 free iPhones + about $1300 back in cash/prepaid gift cards through a few different ways. So they were paying us to use their service and if we stayed more than 3 years then they "win"
It makes more sense to go with visible/USM for effectively $15-$25/mo for the highest tier of service because a lot of these ATT/Verizon promos only offer the "starter" service (which is fine if you're not in congested areas or use Wi-Fi calling frequently)

You would be surprised how many people forget to change companies, switch, re-quote auto insurance every 6 months, forget to turn off subscriptions, etc...
I have seen it even with my "smart" friends who have advanced degrees - they'll have 5-6 subscriptions pulling $150+ monthly and they dont remember signing up for or what they even do and they say "i'll get to it later". This is what companies rely on. Someone signs up for the promo and stays even when price goes up... or signs up without reading fine print and ends up "violating" the contract and paying a fee
Rule number one: Having an advanced degree does not make someone "smart," it just says they've been educated through some program. Far too many prople are educated into being stupid these days.
Being smart is more internal and shows an ability to figure things out for oneself.
