It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

The code I was given by the chat rep was 300GCCARTQ425

Use that and your purchase date on this page:

https://www.yourdigitalrebatecenter.com/#!/

hit continue, and then you get another page that says this:

You're almost finished! Next steps:
Check your inbox for an email from [email protected]
Click on Confirm email address (link expires after 48 hours). You will continue the submission process from there
.

However, when I used an Outlook email, the rebate mail never came through. When I tried a gmail address, it worked fine.
Thanks. Outlook email doesn't work. For Gmail, the email is received almost immediately.

This is a really good deal. Switched over from T-mobile. I chose to order through chat, they were able to waive the activation fee.

Well now here's an interesting twist: the phones are out for delivery right now, and I just got an email from Verizon saying:

Your order is being cancelled.
We weren't able to validate your order with the information you've provided. If you feel this was done in error, please let us know at 888-483-7200.

Anyone else get this nonsense?

Ah, I'm so looking forward to three years of misinformation. /s

No trade in required. You have to bring over and activate the same device you are getting reimbursed for though. You can leave T as soon as the reimbursement is dispersed which can happen within 1 month of T service.
Game plan on !

I see the $300 gift card mentioned on my order confirmation, but did not receive any other information on it. I see some folks here mentioned a code they need to put on a website to get the gift card? Why isn't that mentioned formally by Verizon at checkout

No just calls/text and data in the US. You can buy UnlimitedUltimate or just get aloSIM or airalo esim for international travel.

I called them. Apparently they decide NOW to verify my identity. I had to submit photos of my DL and my face.

Why now, when the phones are on the FedEx truck?

This has got to be the worst wireless company ever. I spent two hours last night signing up and getting everything done. Congradulations your all set. I get the E-mails this morning and everything is shipped out and on the way. A few hours later. Sorry we couldnt validate your Identity the order is cancelled and could not be processed? So another two hours on the phone of which about 5 minutes was actually talking to India. With a Sorry but I can sell you pre paid service??? I asked what about my identity they couldn't confirm and she said "I cant tell you that". I still have tracking and its moving through the carrier. So am I a customer or not? I think alot of people are going to get free bricked phones out of this deal. How can a company be so un organized? Are supposed to now sit on the phone again for two hours to figure out how and where to sen the phones back to them? Absolute insanity.I have said it before if people want to lobby for something I think it should be a true Fifteen Minute Rule. If you are a Customer of a Buisness and or Service and you have to call them and or they have to contact you the telephone conversation should be No more then fifteen minutes. They have all of your customer information in front of them. They should be prepared for your questions as you should for them. No hold on while i pull up your information. Its right there in front of them. Sorry Rant Over Good Luck.
