It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Also by the way what do I do with these phones if they how up? Can they be unlocked or traded??
Happened twice as the reps failed to get the verification done. I asked for supervisor and they were able to send me a verification link where i had to submit my dl and a picture and magically it got approved. Looks like its a very bad process of verification

This is what one of the rep said:

Now, till the phones gets delivered, it's shell account without account number or any port in transfers. When phone is about to be delivered on the day, it get's populated with everything. So people even if any rep pushes that they can transfer your number before you get new phones don't do it tell them you'll do it manually later.

The rep suggested to wait till tomorrow midnight-morning then I can get an esim on any device. If the do before account gets activated it'll mess-up the promos on account and you'll be on call with them every month. The number is already with verizon but can't do it. Good thing it was linked on Google voice let me test it out. Still I'll be without service for 12hrs!!
I went with system generated numbers when setting up account, when phone arrives, I can simply activate phones and have lines up and running, then do port in to ensure I don't mess up my numbers.

Don't you have to pick a new number or port in option during the check out? how do you bypass that?
I had specifically mention that I'll do port in later and didn't provide the transfer pin only the account number.

Well now here's an interesting twist: the phones are out for delivery right now, and I just got an email from Verizon saying:

Your order is being cancelled.
We weren't able to validate your order with the information you've provided. If you feel this was done in error, please let us know at 888-483-7200.

Anyone else get this nonsense?

Ah, I'm so looking forward to three years of misinformation. /s
I got the same email, with the phones on the truck out for delivery. I called spoke to 2 different people in the Fraud department and was told my identity didn't check out. When I asked how can we straightened this out they said nothing else can be done. Transferred me to the customer service to see about getting refund for taxes I paid on phones. Customer service rep said that sound ridiculous, so she gets on with another person in fraud. She took over and sent me a verification code. Got the confirmation email shortly after. However, have not received my phone, it is now past delivery window.
Such a mess. Ridiculous!

I got the same email, fraud alert. I called them, they sent me the pin and then he was able to verify and got another email that order moving forward. But when I see the tracking number on UPS site, it says return to shipper requested. I dont know whats going on. Item was on delivery truck, i saw UPS truck and he went away. I called few times and got few different answers so not sure what to do now. One rep said, system has message that order needs to be done again. Another rep said, everything is fine, wait 2-3 days to get it updated in system and phone should be delivered. I dont know what to do. What are you guys doing? I guess have to wait and watch. I already got the porting request initiated message on last friday when i ordered the phone. Hopefully I will not be stuck in no man's land.

Same. At least your CS was competent. Mine didn't know what to do so I kept being transferred between 3 different departments, fraud, CS and sales till one of the fraud reps said, "Oh, we needed to verify you." (the first fraud prevention rep flat out told me it was due to high risk factor and they couldn't disclose the reason 🤡 but in fact the issue was because they didn't send me any email to verify my identity). And now my order is being shown that "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.
We've received a request from the sender to return the package."

So mine showed up on my doorstep just a little while ago. I had left a note for Fedex. I did finally get my "Your account is approved" email from Verizon...now for the porting. Wish me luck!

I've ported 2 Visible lines (each in separate orders) and 2 Mint lines(3rd order) via chat (activation fee waived). Picked up phones in store.
I see only 1 line and phone under my account.
How to combine them back under my account?

Did it go through for you? I'm trying to set up these as new phones for my parents. UPS made a detour to deliver it. Then I couldn't activate it. Called CS and after being routed 3 times, they said wait 24 hours because the account is supposed to be processed today, hence why I received the fraud email. And the delivery is simply too early. So I can't even activate my account yet till tomorrow 🤡

Was thinking of jumping ship from Helium for new iPhones (Wife and I have 13 Pro Max's), but guys, UW capped at 25Mbps? That is BRUTAL. This is mine right now INSIDE my house. No thanks.
