It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

I just sent an email to Verizon President Dan Schulman about all the problems. I am thinking that they outsource the Chat and they are just approving everybody for the deal due to after you pay them the tax and they get the phones shipped they probably get commission on the "sale". Now let's say the FedEx Driver(s) pick up on this debacle and start stealing these phones that are out here in limbo in our names? I was on hold for an hour and half this morning with three people who now just take name and come back with no answers.

Do we know if teacher/nurse discount stacks with this promotion?
Yes this would be great to know, also has anyone been successful in getting $100 off per line by going into a store, there was one person named aqua or something like that on here that said they were able to do that but no one else has confirmed that

Hey can you tell us more about how to get $100 off per line by doing this in store? I don't think anyone else has indicated they've been able to replicate that. Plus did you see the other user that said they were able to get an additional $30 off making their plan $91 per month for 36 months, I'm surprised by these one-off variations on the deal. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide, repped you.

Did that iPhone 16 promo also have a national $20 discount? You started off with whatever price was for 1 line and it lowered the overall price per line as you added more lines? Did it end up being $100 for 4 lines or $120?
Let us know if you are able to get the $300 per line instead of per account, I see silows approach seems to make sense

Just got this deal over chat. I did 3 17 pros and 1 17 pro max. Only paying $9.99 a month for the pro max. They gave me the $300 gift card and waived $140 in activation fees for me just because I asked. Only had to pay the taxes on the 4 phones up front. Got the email for document verification which is now pending review.
The activations fees are waived for all online, it's in the pop-up.

Like many others, my order was cancelled.

After I received an email saying it was cancelled, I went to the Verizon store. They told me nothing was wrong, but I should call the number in the email anyway.

I called the phone number from the email and the rep told me nothing was wrong and everything was progressing fine.

Today, FEDEX notified me that Verizon had re-directed my phones and they would not be delivered. I called Verizon again, and they said my only option was to place a new order.

I will not be placing a new order with Verizon, and will likely look to cancel my FIOS as well. Over the past 4 days I've probably invested over 15 hours in chats and calls. It feels like a waste, but I probably dodged a bullet of non-stop headaches over the next 3 years.

Same situation. Now, they are duplicating the other. Stupid me transferred my main line number before the phone delivery and l couldn't setup esim without getting otp on Verizon number. So right now, don't have easy easy without getting my number from Verizon.

So im thinking this can be a big money grab and numbers booster by Verizon. They approve thousands of people and on average get a $500-700 payout per new customer put it all in the bank and hold it for thirty to sixty days because you all know thats what its going to take us to get refunds. And now they can show record numbers of new customers. The old addage if its too good to be true its a headache. Good Luck. Anyone following the Samsung thread and are they having the same issues?

Guess many people shared the same experience. Went through the same crap last night with the rep couldn't tell me anything but said need to verify although I am not sure what Verizon needs to verify when I sent them everything that were requested. What a disorganize company. My order is on the way but who knows until I see it. Hopefully someone will take this to social media and call the company out.

So how many are expecting to have to do a chargeback to get their money returned (iPhone tax)? I'm giving it a couple of weeks to see if it's refunded or not before.

The activation fees were showing for me in my cart and the original post confirms "a One-time activation fee totaling $160 ($40 per line) will apply and will appear on your first bill." When I did the chat and checked out with the agent, there was a specific line item in the receipt that I got in my email:
Activation fee for new line (xxx-xxx-xxxx) waived
This one-time activation fee will appear on your bill after you activate your device.
Previous Price $40.00 Actual Price $0.00

I've also had my order shipped, cancelled, approved & uncancelled, shipment cancelled by the sender, and now I have a ticket open where they'll tell me what the resolution will be in 24-48 hours. The CSRs and supervisors have no idea what is happening. Every time I call they give me a different answer, all of which have been wrong. The Verizon webpage says my order doesn't exist when I try to view the order status online. The lady I spoke to early this morning said the cancellations are a "systemic issue" and I was the 5th person this morning she talked to with the same issue. I've spent about 7 hours on the phone and I'm guessing that on Thursday or Friday they'll tell me I need to place a new order (my original order was supposed to be here yesterday).
