It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Saga continues. Do not give them your phone number at all. As they are in the process of porting my phone number to my new phone? What a mess.

They ported my number but can't send esim without my account number/account setup. The number is with them but I can't use it.

If I had work or business I would be f ked without service. Overseas, customer service should be informed that a port-in request should be done after account setup, or they need to tell the backend team to make a feature for it.

I initiated by porting request on Saturday 12/06. I received the phones already but the porting status however still shows "Initiated".

Is anyone else facing the same issue? Do I need to call them for the porting to complete? Should I attempt activating the phones I received?
I tried to activate 3 out of 4 devices and all of them failed, trying to contact customer service. It is never ending misery!

The GC is per transaction. I can't confirm if you're able to claim it for multiple lines that are processed in a single transaction but if you start a 1 line account and then add the additional lines you can definitely get cashback and GC per line. I did this for the last iP16 promo.Problem is you won't be able to add lines until your first line and account is activated. You can speed this up by ordering for a store pickup.
Did that iPhone 16 promo also have a national $20 discount? You started off with whatever price was for 1 line and it lowered the overall price per line as you added more lines? Did it end up being $100 for 4 lines or $120?

Trust me run far and run fast. I thought Cricket had horrible customer service. Atleast after spending an hour on the phone you get things done. I have spent 6 hours on the phone so far and have been sold service and 5 phones and then told I have been denied service and then went to the fraud department who took all of my information and then told me they could not verify my identity. Now they Verizon are trying to port my number(s) from Cricket to who knows where. Oh hold for 45 minutes now. So dont waste your time.

No this "National Discount" appears new. And wasn't available at that time. It's equivalent to the military, first responder, educator, etc. discount in that it gives an account level discount of $10/$15/$20 for 1/2/3+ lines. Verizon seem to be making this type of discount available broadly probably to boost new accounts after their poor numbers this year.

If it works like those discounts you should be able to start a 1 line account with the discount applied (it does show up in the online cart for 1 line) and it will increase up to $20 after the 3rd line is activated.

T-mobile thing is not a deal, people are just fantasizing without reading the fine print.

T-mobile thing is where they will pay off your phone (up to $800) if you switch to them. But you have to trade in your phone (so goodby iphone 17 pro) and then you get a t-mobile phone on bill credits again, which is right where you started.

With just two lines I would think about whether or not its worth the deal. Two lines is 65/mo, but realistically 85/mo after taxes. Thats $3000 over three years. That isn't that much cheaper than just buying two iphones and getting a visible or usmobile plan for $20/month including taxes.
not correct unless tmobile changed something this week onwards

Very sure my identity wasnt stolen. I just think they are either really horrible at customer service or very overwhelmed with this promotion.

Yes any address changes mismatch could trigger that too.

I spoke to Customer Representative over the phone related to Activation fee waived. He said CSR need to create a new order to waived but he will put remark only and suggested me to place order instead and then update remark to waived Activation. So i already placed order. Not able to request for activation waived. Is it still possible to waive Activation fee via CSR or chat? My Account number is still not generated. Looks like i need to activate line.
any guidance here.
Their website and overall order processing sucks.
My Advice is if you are not into the game stay out> Dont provide and money and or telephone information or else youll be out of luck.
