It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Boy... reading all the comments makes me worry about my order as well. Although so far I haven't had any issues, there are no guarantees, it seems.
I placed my order through chat yesterday. I am porting 4 numbers from T-Mo. The whole process wasn't too long, maybe about an hour, and that's mainly because I still had one phone on EPP. I was asked to upload my latest T-Mo bill. The rep, whose name was Nora, was very knowledgeable. She offered some additional services, but wasn't aggressive in sales tactics, which I appreciated.
After I paid the taxes, I got the identity verification email. I submitted my DL and utility bill. A couple of hours later, I received the "Order Approved" email. Today I got the shipping info. The expected delivery is on Thursday. I hope it doesn't get cancelled until then.

So you're on your third order right now? And for your in-store pick up order did you order online with a chat agent (so you could waive the activation fees) or did you go into the store and do the whole process in the store?

you should take the time to read the details - it doesn't matter what carrier you are with, this is not a porting required deal

Did you put the 2nd order after the package was returned ? I am in the same boat where ups is sending the package back. I was thinking to wait for few days to get things cleared up in their system. Is it confirmed that all people who are in similar boat, their orders are getting canceled and has to be reordered ?
I already provided them pin for porting and it's been initiated as well. Dont want to get stuck in middle.

Do you have the new phones yet? If not then mention them you want to wait for the phones to deliver. Yes after I confirmed with FedEx that package is being returned to Verizon and one of the rep confirmed that some ticket was generated for FedEx to have package returned. After that, her supervisor confirmed the situation and they replaced another order with everything and paid taxes again.

Yes also received email saying Your device promotional credit* has been removed from your account because the device payment agreement was canceled for mobile number ending xxxxxx for so 4 lines.

No the phones were not delivered. I saw UPS returned it and they have generated a new tracking number for return package. I checked status on that and it shows "delayed". May be I will give them a call later in the day to see. But I am not sure if these people will help me much. Yesterday was just different people giving different answers. 1 rep said wait for 2 days and it will be delivered. Other rep said, I have to reorder.
