It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

No just call the rep and have one line number with you. They need to send OTP to verify, and ask for IMEI of the new phone once linked you get popup notification to add sim. Right now, I have esim on s25U and will transfer for iphone activation and be back on s25U if I don't like ios. It can also be done from app download verizon app on new device it'll ask in the app if you want to setup esim and register it that way(haven't tried to transfer) but had popup in app when I downloaded app.
Thanks for the info! Quick additional question. One of my family members who would be on the new plan is out of town to do the activation and port over and I don't want her to risk losing her current phone service if the port over is done. I'm trying to work a way around it. You did a temp phone number right. How did that work out for you

Order thru chat rep using my phone. Must go all the way to check out where you put your payment info. Then chat with the rep. Just tell them your ready to check out and they will send you a link from lifeonverizon link to put your info and your order will show up at their end after you submit it. took 15 mins to order.
quickly verify with fraud dept to have the order not canceled.

have temp number assigned on that line you'll have 30days to activate. when they are ready port in that number. Do it over call so you can specify which lines to port in.

Using app to do switch device is better. I recently upgraded a couple lines with 17PM, but we decide to switch phone due to color preference. I used a spare phone to free up one 17PM, but unable to add it to different line, the message says phone is locked, I was able to use app to do it.

Makes sense. The rep did tell me there is a risk of losing the promo if phone number change is done within 60 days. But with one line I can probably risk it. Thanks!

In this situation you would had signed an agreement showing you accepted activation fees. If they don't waive it after the fact, youre SOL.

Hi, I tried to follow the same thing and confirmed with the rep but only one gift card is qualified. The store manager showed me the internal fine print this morning. It does say one gift card per account, not per line. The online chat rep also told me to do 4 separate accounts to get 4 gift cards. Have you receive all 3 gift cards yet?
Activated my third phone (3rd separate order on the same account) and submitted the $300 GC rebate. My account shows three $300 GC rebates submitted.

so do they just adjust the plan cost down as you add lines?
I just ordered my 4th line. The ongoing monthly (not including taxes or fees) is $30/line with the ACH discount. There's also a $20 monthly National Discount. So the monthly total for the four lines which were added in separate orders is $100 ($120-$20) not including taxes or fees.

On your 2nd order, you have to verify with the fraud dept again?

Has anyone attempted to do this all in a Verizon store, or is this an online only offer? Would be nice to do it in person real-time to make sure you can waive activation fees, add the $300 GC for each of the 4 phones and get all 4 phones on the $25/line plan, and obviously get the phones then and there and not have to deal with FedEx and chatting with agents, fraud dept, etc.

If you do 4 separate orders, how do you get the $25/month pricing? One device just by itself is $65/month. It's only $25/month when you have 4 lines activated on an account. And I thought this deal was only good for new accounts. How can you get the new iPhone 17 Pro for free just by adding a line on the existing account?

Is anyone seeing in your account a high first month's bill for December? I'm guessing it's due to phone credits taking a billing cycle and activation fees still needing to be credited / knocked off?

Are these on separate accounts or the same account? You can do 4 separate orders and then merge them into the same Verizon account at activation? Apologies for the ignorance.

First phone activated with no issues. It's been surprisingly smooth. My number ported-in in seconds from my T-Mo iPhone 13. Placed a successful test call.
