It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

What a fiasco. I wanted temporary numbers on the phone until I decided to port my numbers in. I told teh chat rep this and was told that he needed the numbers in the system due to the device payoffs they were doing. He assured my that since he wasn't taking the account number or transfer pin that they wouldn't port immediately? Turned the phones on and guess what, they are setup with the ported numbers and now in a state of flux. So I scramble to get the transfer information to just finish the port at this point. Spent hours on the phone with tech support to figure out why iMessage and FaceTime were not activating on the new phones. At about 12:30am the tech support rep arrives at the conclusion it is on Apple's side and asks me to call Apple support...they're closed. This morning I called and the Apple rep had me delete the eSIM and reactivate it. It solved the problem immediately. Between the hours in chat to purchase these phones and the several hours spent troubleshooting activation issues, I am not sure this save me that much money.

Can you share how you activated the phones ? I just don't want to ruin my weekend with chat or help. I am porting a number from another carrier
TMobile to Verizon. You'll need some extra time, like 1-2 hours, just in case something goes wrong unexpectedly. When I turned on the phone, it asked me to activate it on my T-Mobile number that I was porting over. I did, and it asked for the PIN we picked during the application? But for one number, it took longer, like the service was running on both T-Mobile and Verizon from the same number, and I could make and receive calls. Number transfers can take longer sometimes, so make sure both parties are available.

Get it with new number or temp number. Don't give them the transfer pin. Only whenever you're ready.

I don't get how this company makes money. So like many of you I went through the process got my phones almost delivered only to get my order cancelled during delivery process. Spent about 9 hrs total on the phone to get nowhere between FedEx and Verizon Customer service. I went to a mall store which are 2nd to 3rd party vendors only for them to look up my account and just say yeah yeah ok that's interesting, well it looks good on our end just wait??? Then I went today to the local corporate store to hear oh yeah this happens all the time. They look up my account to tell me I'm a customer without phones? We call the fraud department together only for them to verify my identity and to then cancel my order that's in limbo to then tell me that I can now repeat the whole process again now that my identity is verified?? I suggested to just reroute my phones in limbo and they said no you have to repeat the whole transaction over??? So now another grueling hour or two on the phone with the sales department. For the love of god where has common sense gone?
Please let me know. what you end up doing. I am still waiting for my FedEx delivery as well. Unsure whether I should wait it out or cancel and place a 2nd order.

For anyone that had their order cancelled do you still see the taxes you paid as a charge or did they drop off automatically?

Nothing was done automatically. I had to call them to tell them they got the phones back and they confirmed and said they're gonna refund the taxes. That was 2 days ago, no email confirmation of the refund or refund received yet. Nightmare

Yes, that's correct. After porting one of my lines from T-Mobile to Verizon, I was able to make outgoing calls, but I was not able to receive incoming calls. It also took quite some time working with support before this issue was fully resolved.

Can you activate with a temporary number if you've already given Verizon your old phone number? I gave them the phone # during sign up, but not the account # or pin.

Even I forgot to do it with a temporary number and put in my real numbers straight up! Also, make sure the transfer PIN didn't expire—I think it's 7 days. I had issue with incorrect pin which took longer. You can give the porting department a call at 888-844-7095. Have your account and PIN handy. Specify which number to do port in for of you don't have all the people on account available. They'll do it only for those numbers. You need to be the account holder.

The porting status can be checked on
