It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41

I hope it isn't indicative of future support should I need it. My chat rep yesterday was much better. Even gave me 4 $200 GC in place of the single $300 GC.

Here's another heads up for anyone who cares. I canceled my order on the 13th for a few reasons. I was approved (4 lines) and had already signed all the agreement paperwork. First reason I canceled is because it went into hold status. There was no confirmation emails of order or status. I had to check status manually to find this out. This gave me time to read more on the thread about taxes coming out to $9-$10 per line and other nightmare scenarios so I canceled. (they never asked me to pay for taxes BTW, not sure why.) I received an email this morning that said "Your order has been approved.
We have successfully validated your order and it's now being processed." So I go to website and check the order status again and it says that it was canceled but also says shipping will be updated soon.

I went through the same thing, I think her name was Jane. She insisted on getting my numbers to port because "it's the way it works" she said something about port bounce. Someone said on an earlier post that they were able to get another $30 per month discount for switching stacked on current discount for a total of ~$91 for 4 lines. Whoever tries this again , be sure to ask about stacking port switching discount.

Reporting back after having finished the process for this deal. Ended up with $1,800 of gift cards pending and all activation fees waived. Also showing $100/mth plus tax for 4 lines.

As some others have discussed. Was able to order 1 phone at a time for site pickup within an hour or two of placing order, then put in the next order. Used temporary numbers and made an appointment at the Verizon store once I had all phones in had and they transferred the 4 existing visible numbers to Verizon without issue.

I also claimed the gift card from the cart for each order, and claimed the submission on the website prior to placing the order for the next phone. Had an additional $600 cashback offer from another site that another contributor posted previously.

I ordered through the cashback link one at a time, and after all phones were activated I called and had the activation fees waived for all lines.

Oh that's another thing. I chatted the rep for line 1 and they said I had the gift card added to order but it didn't show in my order confirmation. I went to the website and submitted and it eventually showed up in my email confirmation. Lines 2-4 I actually signed into my new account and under account activity and notifications at the bottom it lets you submit there. All four cards now show pending.

Wow. I must be in the minority here. Put in an order via chat for store pickup and in a different state no less! (Traveling tomorrow) Got the fraud verification email. Submitted docs, made the call, got approved, got a store pickup confirmation 30 min later.

Store pickup works for most orders, and it worked for mine as well. I would recommend store pickup to everyone. You can have your order shipped to the store and then pick it up. Even if your order requires verification, the online order may be put on hold, but the store can still fulfill it once verification is completed. If doing shipping at home then after the order call to do verification ASAP so the system doesn't generate the return to fedex crap.

Ordered online for in store pick up, submitted docs for identity verification, there was an issue and had to cancel order. In store I asked for an equal or better deal. In addition to the $100 plan I'll get $10 additional discount for 36 months on two lines. Instead of the $300 gift card will get $720 in credits. Let's see if all goes through

I did order yesterday, for store pickup. To me the tax they charged is $308. That seems pretty high. In GA it's 7% tax so it should be just $176 instead of $308. The $300 gc is their way of paying for this extra hidden charges they push to customers
