It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Before unless you live in tax free states.
So I guess my cancellation didn't take effect. They shipped the phones and I'll be getting them tomorrow. My purchase receipt email says $0.00 for purchase taxes. Can someone who's ordered through chat please check your purchase receipt to see if they listed taxes on your phones? If not then did they still charge for them before or after shipping? I'm in a state that should charge taxes so this is a mystery.

So I am still out of my mind right now with both Verizon and FedEx. So one of my phones on my order was back ordered to ship another day. Verizon canceled my order but then when I verified my information they called FedEx to continue my packages. My single phone was going between NJ and NY for about 2 days back and forth. The last day it was scanned was 12-12 in NJ and it has not moved since. Verizon did a conference call with me and FedEx and they Verizon could not provide an account number for FedEx to re route my package to me. FedEx every day says oh I see it's in NJ we will ship it priority. It has not moved at all. They now say call Verizon to re route the package. I called Verizon they say call FedEx. I called FedEx fraud and missing packages and they say as long as it was scanned at a hub it's not missing. Verizon fraud says we can't do anything until the shipper reports it missing??? So now what??? I am at a total loss. And no one has any empathy they just say oh we are so sorry you're upset. And they all want to spend the whole day on the phone.

Update: I was able to get a phone agent from the activations department to waive the fees, so you may have to call in if chat is not working.
which number did you call? did you mention any specific promo? I ordered online but having hard time to get them waived.

Just did this and used the BF cashback website. It advertised $75 cash back but after doing the 4 line promo I got notification of $300 cash back from BFrug website. Must be $75 per line. Making this deal much sweeter
Were you able to get this cashback and the waived activation fee or if you do the chat to have the activation fee waived then the CB site does not work. If I get get $300 CB, I'll take that over the $160 waived activation fee.

My experience didn't seem as bad as what some of you have written. I first tried ordering online but got a glitch when processing the CC for the payment on sales tax for the iPhones. I'm glad that happen since I ended up redoing everything with an agent through chat and the person basically walked me through everything, took a little over half an hour start to finish. I was able to get the activation fee waived, as well as the $300 Verizon eGift card without much effort. No push back from chat agent for either, I just mentioned them and "sure" was the response. Order on Saturday afternoon and got my phones Tuesday afternoon.

My monthly bill after taxes and "surcharges" came out to a little over $156/month with auto bill pay. Breaks down to $100 for the 4 lines, $30/month because 3 of the family members wanted the 17 Pro Max which wasn't as heavily discounted and had a $10/month charge for 36 months, and $26 worth of taxes/fee. The sales tax for the 3 iPhone 17 Pro Max and the 1 iPhone 17 Pro was $388 which was paid upfront when the order was put through. The $300 eGift card has been redeemed with a mid-January estimated arrival date and should blunt a good chunk of that.

Anyone else have their bill get messed up after porting in numbers? It's charging me again for the lines that had numbers ported in next month as well + current bill. Ongoing monthly estimate now no longer is accounting for autopay discount even tho it's still active. How this company even exists amazes me. Literal trash in every aspect, can't run anything properly. I was lucky enough to not have to call them at all so far. Now I have to spend hours get this bill mess sorted out.

How did you get the gift card redemption option? I did not get any email or not seeing under notifications in my verizon app. Thanks!

So what did you end up doing? How did they work this out for you? I was thinking of activating the phones and then putting them under the tree until Xmas for the fam.

I was able to submit 4 rebates. One per line using the link and promotion code provided by @madfakka in older posts On the app if I look at order I see under column promotion/ Rebate it was applied only for one line. Total rebate is shown $300Now waiting for the decision from rebate department. Hopefully they will honor $300 x4 .. cleaner approach would have been add one line in cart wait then when rebate pops up add it. Hopefully all lines we get pop up and rebate gets added after waiting. Then they can't deny it.
Hi, any update on your attempt on the 4x 300gc? You mentioned you were able to submit for 4, any word on whether you got 4?

For anyone that did in store pickup, were you able to select a Verizon corporate store? I'm seeing only Victra locations (which is a large authorized retailer). If you did pick up at an authorized retailer, how did the process go, did they charge you any extra fees and did you pay at the store or did you pay (taxes) online when creating the order and no payment was needed in the store? My local victra locations are a bit shady, they try to add on fees but I don't know if the process is still that way when ordering directly from the verizon website and picking up in store there. Thanks for any help you can provide

It was just in my notifications when I signed in to My Verizon. I really didn't have to do much, the notification clicked through to the claim page and a few clicks later and after confirming some details and clicking submit, I got an email confirmation that my rebate had been submitted and to expect it by January 19.

Check your order confirmation email/order receipt to make sure you got the promo. The order receipt is a PDF attached to your order confirmation email. For mine, the email also had a notice for the egift card redemption as well.

"Your order qualifies for a reward card offer.
Learn more and redeem in My Verizon. Look for 'Account activity & notifications' on your Account overview page. Submit for redemption by February 11, 2026. You can also visit our Reward Card FAQs for additional info."

Why didn't you just have it shipped to you? Mine arrived pretty quickly, ordered on a Saturday and got it by Tuesday. The activation was basically just turning on the phones, nothing that would require a store employee to take care of.
