It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

I picked it up in store, yeah. For the first one, you need to get it and activate so that you can order the others

The others you can have delivered and it should be okay. They're just additional lines being added

The 300 GC is one per order and that's why I did it one line per order rather than just throw all four into one order

So first order was with new plan, one line, welcome unlimited plan. Once I activated, I was able to go in to Verizon site and add a line, place the order. Then another. Had 300 GC show and applied every time in cart

If you did all four without activating one and having a Verizon account from which to order, they'd all be their own accounts! And that wouldn't get you the 4/100 deal

Is everything back ordered? Even an s25 plus as your first one to establish an account could work
So my understanding is, get one line, activate it and finish port in, got 1st $300, create an account. Then add another line using the same account, repeat the process of activation and port in, and $300. Do this to the rest two. In your account, the total monthly payment will be automatically set to 100+tax, right?

Thank you for confirming this. One question, how to activate a phone and port in so quickly? Don't you need them to ship the phone?

Only problem is gift card takes like 8 weeks? That should give Verizon plenty of time to verify one per account if the company does verify one per account instead of one per phone.

When you buy online, you put in phone number you want to port, the account number, and the pin. When you go to pick up your phone, you start it up and it runs through set up of esim and ports the number in a matter of seconds. It's seamless. Then the line is thereby "activated" and you can set up Verizon account. I did this from parking lot of Verizon store, placed next order to be picked up at same store within the next half hour 😂

Nothing in the 300 offer precludes it from being used per line added. It should be okay! But time will tell

Can we not add 3 lines in 3 different orders right away after activating the primary line ?
after I ordered second line, this is the error I see while trying to place a new order for 3rd line
"Seems like there's a pending order on your account.
You can purchase a new device once the pending order is complete. If you need assistance, contact Customer Service at 800-922-0204"

Can I bring my own # or do I have to select "No, I don't have a number"? Can I get the deal with "no I don't have a number" and then import my existing # later?
  • Nevermind, just read back, looks like you port your existing line in after getting the deal.

Placed phone order for pick up, activated with new number. Activation was not charged.
Placed second order for delivery 1/9 with port-in, also without activation charge.
Don't know where to see the $300 credits though.
Planning to place the other 2 orders tomorrow, hopefully making pick-up work. Over-the-phone CS and chat CS both claim that they're sold out in my area, but there's a CellularSales that I called and confirmed they have stock.
*edit: Used 300GCCARTQ425 at https://www.yourdigitalrebatecent.../#!/submit, submitted a claim for each number.

"We've received your submission for the $300 Verizon Gift Card on Us promotion. Here are the tracking number(s) for the mobile number(s) you provided:
Based on the purchase date provided, you can expect us to validate your rebate around February 3, 2026."
So there's a chance we all only get 1 GC for the troubles.

After asking for the activation fees to be waived last night via chat, they finally have reflected on the projected bill in Verizon app 👍

were you initially promised this during your order or you just kept asking via chat?
