It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41

I just did this deal for the iPhone 17, 4 lines. On the actual receipt it does not show the $20/mo. discount, does anyone else have that experience? $300 GC does show up. Line is $40/mo until the $10/mo line discount is applied with autopayments set up.

A little concerned that the $20/mo. discount is not showing up under the National Discount Marker, just a $0.00.

How was your experience, same or different? I am having difficulty logging into MyVerizon so cannot check it there.

Sent me a link to sign the paperwork and pay the $462 in device taxes. I activated the CB plugin, but doesn't look like it tracked at all. Whole transaction took about 45 minutes.Happy New Year, All!Edit: My FIL signed up via chat a day before I did. He asked about the Switcher and Better Deal and was told they didn't exist. Was never asked to upload his bill. Unfortunately, he didn't bail on the rep and moved forward anyway. He already has 3 of 4 devices in hand and ported during sign-up. it will be fine - my receipt was similar but it will show up on the bill estimates once you get your phones and account activated.

Receive an email after 30
Days of account opening in order to redeem the 300gc. Is this what you all are getting as well? I thought I can apply for the gc once I get the phones and activate it.

I went to the website posted upthread and applied. I entered all the info and it said they'll review it and should let me know by Feb. 8th.

The 300 credit from the gift cards? I feel like the chat and in store reps would be least likely to budge on that. The activation fees are also proving to be a bear and I may just eat that cost myself. What it seems they do feel empowered to do is apply a bunch of monthly discounts. I got mine down to 60 bucks a month ish including all fees and taxes for four lines and may just call it a day there, don't want any more eyes on the account really lol. And will follow up on 300 GC x 4, all were submitted and terms seem simple there
