It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

It doesn't matter for folks who will stay with Verizon. Maybe a issue for folks traveling abroad as Verizon is not as good as Tmobile for travel to Europe, Asia
I'm traveling today and tried upgrading to ultimate plan for 1 line but it was 15gb high speed then slower speed. Not enough for 1 month trip

Verizon's current policy is for phones to be "remotely unlocked automatically 60 days after paid activation and 60 days of paid active service." Phones already activated on the Verizon network won't be affected by the waiver, according to the FCC.
If I have two iPhone 17 Pros sitting here in unopened boxes (purchased 12/31/2025) that are attached to valid, but unused, Verizon lines, are these phones considered "activated"? Do we know if they'll be unlocked as expected?

I submitted two rebate claims in total.
I received the rebate card and PIN for the second number, but for my main number I am seeing the message below. If the main number also processes the GC emailcorrectly, I will submit the remaining lines afterward.
Also, for the people who traded in carrier phones, submission is required to receive the full promotional amount. So far, I have only received the market value of approximately $275 instead of the full trade-in EIP balance that was remaining with T-Mobile.

Status detail:
You're valid and going through final processing. Please allow up to 2 weeks to receive your rebate.
Did you submit the 300gc rebates separately or did you do them in 1 online submission?

Use Promo code: 300GCCARTQ425
Promotion name: $300 Verizon Gift Card on Us (a $300 Verizon e‑Gift Card tied to a smartphone purchase with a new line on any myPlan Unlimited mobile plan, completed from your cart).

The promo code works for orders till jan 8th imo

Did you do a fresh rebate process for each line or just do all of the lines in 1 single rebate submission?

Good question, I saw someone on here got an email that said "We noticed there's been no activity on your new lines of service. To avoid disruption of your service, please contact us soon at 866-451-1237 to confirm this account is still needed or if you're having trouble with your service" Several on here have phones that haven't been opened yet and are waiting for unlock. I have 1 like that myself. Will it automatically unlock at 60 days, and how do we know whether it's activated or not?

I'm in the same boat. I really hope they don't cancel the number. I went to the store and asked the store reps about it and they all assured me it's all activated and everything is fine. But I don't trust them.

Did anyone else receive this email?
I've been with Verizon for a week. I called them and they told me it was because I wasn't using the new phones (I switched all my lines back to my old devices)

I don't know about Verizon specifically, but I know with other carriers, you've gotta actually get the esim onto the phone for it to be "seen" by the network. Also to get unlocked when the time does come. So I doubt they're activated if in the box

I opened all 4 phones, made some calls and text and turned off. A week later I got that same email. Turned them back on, made some calls and turned off again. No email so far for 3 weeks.

My iPhone suddenly went into SOS mode about 30 minutes ago. It was working normally before. I've already tried airplane mode and force restart. I also tired to online chat and call their customer service and not working....Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? I'm in NYC.

Same here, I just noticed it. I had purchased this new device on Dec 14 and activated on the same date by porting number from AT&T. I came here to see if anyone else having the issue and found your post.
