It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

I have four rebates pending. They all of dates of Feb. 6th. I purchased in-store on Dec. 31st) and they gave me $400 worth of bill credits to make up for the fact I couldn't get the online rebates. I submitted anyway and will be shocked if any get approved.

As far as yours being past due: I would assume this deal got a lot more attention than they anticipated. Please let us know the outcome.
how did they handle the bill credits? did you have to call them and get them to intervene for the bill?

Not at all. It just showed up in my account. My first statement showed a -$400 balance. The manager at the store added it as an "inconvenience adjustment" during the transaction after I asked about the $300 gift card. I didn't have to fight for it at all.

I haven't had to contact Verizon about anything. The bills I'm getting are considerably lower than I had agreed to, so I'm keeping my mouth shut. We'll see if it gets readjusted at some point, but I was expecting to pay $149/mo for four lines (two Plus/two Welcome) before auto-pay. The bill I got was for $119 and then I set up auto-pay. We'll see if it goes to $79 due to the $10 per line auto-pay adjustment..

As far as the service goes, we're floored. We've had AT&T for over 25 years and the service was terrible. I'm actually able to use my phone now.

Also, my $300 rebate is still showing Pending validation, with an expected validation date of 1/16/2026. Anyone else having this issue?

I just did the one rebate.
Mine were expected to validate on the 11th. On the 19th, I got "There are problems with your submissions" on all 4 of mine, so I contacted customer service. They said, "Oh, this most definitely will be resolved by the 23rd."

Of course, the 23rd came and went, no resolution. So I opened a ticket, and it was supposed to have been resolved by the 26th, but again, nothing. At least with the ticket, you have a history...for what it's worth.

The rep that opened the ticket said it was clear that I met all the requirements, yet I was still being denied, and that they were going to manually push it through.

Still waiting...

Did your second bill(after the initial) have two months of service showing or just one?

I am going to wait it out another 2 weeks.

One thing I have learned is that their CS loves to mess stuff up.

Verizon Billing is a mess. Need to call/chat with CSR for the total $358 credit
  1. Double charge on initial bills
  • My first bill only included 2 of the 4 lines, charged at $65 per line with no discounts.
  • My second bill included all 4 lines, but 2 lines were double charged for the prior month.
  • $65 × 2 = $130 (about $158 with taxes/fees).
  1. Activation fees
  • I was charged activation fees for all 4 lines.
  • $40 × 4 = $160 credit
  1. Missing AutoPay discount for first month
  • The AutoPay discount was not applied for the first month.
  • $10 × 4 lines = $40 credit

My issues are almost identical. Crazy initial bill charges with no discounts. I had to argue this down twice to waive activation and then get it to reflect the on-going monthly. Then second bill now is all screwed with double charges from initial bill so it looks like I am getting charged for two months on the second bill (hence why I have been asking folks what their second bill looks like).

My rebate got declined and I called rep. They said I am only eligible for a single 300$ GC per account, not per line. Whilst some may have success in redeeming multiple, the rep said that those will likely be retracted so don't be surprised if you see your GC amount get pulled few months from now.

Finally got all 4 of my $300 rebate cards... now... what can they be used for? I originally thought they were like prepaid debit cards, but apparently not.. payments towards bills? God knows I don't need $1200 in accessories!

payment towards your bill is as far as I know. guessing the payment will need to be manual too so not to mess-up the autopay setup and discount.

It does have an effective date though of 1/27/26, so all of us who bought in December should be good
