There's already a newer version, though it's twice as expensive.
Seems like that's moreso 4k; The main difference is that the IMX678 is a higher-resolution (8.4MP) sensor designed for primary use like front-facing cameras, while the IMX675 is a lower-resolution (5MP) sensor, often used for secondary cameras like a rear-facing camera. Both are Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, known for excellent low-light performance, but the IMX678 provides sharper details suitable for capturing distant objects like license plates, whereas the IMX675 is optimized for tasks where high resolution is less critical.

No rear camera included at this price is a deal breaker
Price aside, even the newer version with 4K is only 30FPS while the older 329S (which isn't sold as a single camera for some reason) is 60FPS. If I'm paying that much for a "premium" camera (yeah, yeah, tariffs), I expect it to have the "premium" FPS.
