Just bought and installed these. It's kind of amazing that solar powered fully self-contained lighting is available at this price. They're pretty great from a utility perspective but they're (as expected) very cheaply made, don't get as bright as I'd like (was hoping to use them to light up my side porch enough that I wouldn't need a dedicated overhead lamp), and I'm pretty sure that like 20 of the 60 feet they advertise is just blank cord going from the first light to the solar panel. It's to facilitate mounting the solar panel somewhere in the sun, but it feels disingenuous to count that blank cord that does nothing as part of the string lights.

Solar outdoor lighting sucks. Always a disappointment as far as light input and length of time they stay lit. Cloudy overcast days make it even worse!

Per description, yes- and one bulb is included.
Honestly short of a manufacturing defect these bulbs will probably outlast the solar panel and battery by a large margin. I assume you would need DIY electronic skills to replace those components.

I might argue almost all of this low end budget driven disposable solar outdoor lighting always sucks, but not all outdoor solar lighting. The solar panel size is usually a good indicator of where the lights come in between being decorative or actually useful.

The connector to the solar panel is USB. You can plug it into any USB power source to power it. A plug in power source makes the light noticeably brighter

My 6 or so Halloween spotlight strands would like a word with you.... 4 years and still running strong. Now if they were for use year round, that may be a different story

Looking at photos and asking Rufus, they aren't usb-c connectors. You'd think the first commentor would've figure to plug in via usb-c if they could. Has the product been upgraded? I haven't seen a usb-c water proofed connection yet. Can anyone confirm?

yes, they're great till they go out around midnight or earlier. I have a few sets. they don't make it long into the night, even in the summer. Good news is, if you get the one with a std bulb socket, they offer that and the little socket, the std ones, e26, have a USB A cord you can plug into a viable power bank and would last much longer when you need them to burn longer if you have an occasion to need them to. the little socket ones have a 2 prong screw on input to the little solar pannel. so you're limited to maybe 4 or 5 hours. IMO they have a warm color and are plenty bright.

these are actually pretty good but for an insufficient battery storage. the panel does fine, but battery runs out.
