Any disadvantage to this shape saw body versus the typical straight form?

I guess this takes the same blades as any recip? The 2 handed ( not brushless) with 2 batt is down to $79 today. I think this would fit the bill for what I do most...chop branches that don't go thru my shredder. Prob gonna stew on it a couple hours.

No reviews for this on H-depot. New product? This has 5/8" stroke. The brushless one-hander has 7/8" stroke.

I wasn't interested because it's a brushed motor, but then I saw that a permanent marker was included. That makes this a pretty good deal. The maker is part number RPM121. It has an 88% recommendation rate. It has a built-in hanging clip and a 72 hour cap off life. According the the Q&A "This marker should not fade as quickly as other markers." Another important detail: Product Width (in.) .43 in.
Some quotes from reviews to consider:
"If you gather up all the markers."
"The odor is not too objectionable."
"I used this marker to mark my holes..."
"This customer chose to rate the product and not provide text."
"Solid ca."
"Totally lame."
"I bought 6 because I lose things or someone put it in a flower pot."

I have been unable to find a user manual for the marker, but here are some other sources of information and other suppliers for comparison shopping:

Yes, leverage. The straight ones you need 2 hands, even if they claim it's 1 handed.

This works great for pruning. I have the brushless version

It's slower (SPM) and the stroke length is about half of what a regular Reciprocating saw has. So the same cut could take twice as long. Also a normal sawzall generally has a bigger more powerful motor, so it won't bog down as easily.

And I'm not trying to crap on this one-hander. It has it's use case.

I just used this, and it was a struggle to saw through old pressure treated 4x4 posts. I needed to 'two hand' it to get the blade to pass through. One hand cut worked a treat on 1x1 fencing trim, though. The motor didn't overheat and the blade didn't jam up + I do appreciate the compact form factor to for overhead cutting and storage.

This is perfect for a weekend DIY homeowner that needs to prune or do basic jobs (trellaces, siding, drywall, conduit/pvc, fencing, etc.) There is also a compact brushless sawzall that I have had my eye on for awhile, but it is 3-4x the price and I'm unsure if it would be 3-4x better.

Same, not really a need since i have a few reciprocating saws, one being the brushless ryobi....but just looks like it would be a neat addition
