Awesome, thank you so much! My current rig has a first gen core i7-920, 12 GB of DDR-3, and a 1070 ti. It plays all of my old games well at 1080p and some at 1440p
Your 1070ti is still better than this. You probably want to look at pre-builds with 5060 or better. Even 5050 is only maybe 15-20% better.

Good point. Also, even with Civ 5 late game is slow. I'd imagine a much, MUCH newer CPU would chew through turns!
You can also look up whether this desktop's PSU is at least 500W and has a 8 pin connector, if so you can move your 1070ti over as well.

I was looking closely at the pics to see if I could swap over my PSU, as well. Looks like a weird, non-standard configuration

Why do I get the feeling that we're going to look back at deals like this as the good old days? Kinda of like we look back at 2024 when 32 GB of RAM was routinely on sale for $80 or less.

HP loves to use nonstandard PSU, I've had several of their desktops over the years, and it's either custom cabling for their motherboard so you can use with only their PSU, or they really go custom where the PSU itself is custom-made to fit their case and work with their MOBO.

Definitely far, far less than the sum of its parts, cost wise.

Also available directly from Newegg [newegg.com] but for more. If you need a quantity of 2 or more, they accept offers. Who is adventurous to try?

Anyone able to share their thoughts on how this would perform for basic to intermediate Photoshop work, using the Neural Filters and Camera Raw, with maybe 10 layers at most? Is the integrated graphics going to bottleneck these features?

Couldn't you just recase everything and get a better PSU?
Would 5000 series bottleneck?
If you buy this, you better repaste it immediately

HP uses non standard PSU connectors so you can't just drop in a new PSU yourself. But the included PSU maybe sufficient for the GPU and should have a spare 8pin or 6pin connector.

9060 xt 16gb is much better value.. and not sure if the power supply would handle a graphics card...
It will not. These prebuilts have 280w PSUs, and likely no 8-pin for an addon card.

Sadly, these Omnidesk PCs seem to have 280w PSUs, so addon GPUs are unlikely without a PSU change. It's unknown if this takes an ATX PSU, or a custom.
