Yeah most shoppers dont see the point in paying more. DVDs are usually way cheaper on the rack then a Bluray or UHD most of the time.

This is what boggles my mind, the price of a simple BluRay player in 2025. We've always had a Playstation, so haven't worried about it, but still.

IMO watching this movie on DVD is the best experience. Blu-ray makes it look too real/fake and removes the fantasy for me.

Blu-ray players are $10-20 a pop on FB marketplace these days. I picked up my first LG UHD Blu-ray player on there for $10

From personal experience there a lot of people who CLAIM they can't/don't see the difference between the upscaled 480p or 720p of DVDs and the 1080p or 2160p of BRs so I guess it works for them.
