They're leaving consumer so micron (parent) can reallocate their resources towards data centers, ai, and enterprise.

Because screw the consumer. They don't pay enough. 😭

I remember when I started building PCs back in 2007, Crucial Ballistics were the go-to RAM of choice. Nowadays, they're just a shell of their former selves. Those glory days are over and Micron ruined it. Ai can have it now, good riddance.

Gamers Nexus was saying that the way things are going is we will be renting computer power from these data centers. Oh great another subscription service... Big brother is soooo here..

Missing info here is that it is a 2tb BX, not the MX..

They are saying that this stuff will be going through the roof in price next quarter and the lull in gpu prices will be over for a verry long time.. times they are a changing.. Might be the last consumer builds a lot of us make..
