I guess this is a decent deal but even at a $400 price point,


this phone is rather confusing to even consider. It not a successor to the entry level of SE3 and is not entirely better than 13 and after but is better at the same time.

So if I guess right, this is for those pre iPhone 13 users who is too stubborn to upgrade? .

Your post is confusing. At a basic level your getting a pretty current phone with Apple intelligence that is unlocked. If you compare this phone to the 15 at Best Buy for the same price, your loosing the extra camera lense for some compute power and intelligence, also unlocked. I have a 13 and a 16e is a decent but I really want the better camera. There are a few other minor difference before this and the 15, that's up to you if they matter.If this was a lower price point it would be enticing for what it is.

Not everyone uses a camera all the time. A camera is not a good reason when there are things like ram, storage, which will get updates longer that are more crucial deciding points.

We are looking to upgrade from 13 and 13 mini. Battery life, processing power, updates and display size are main drivers of decision. Camera is not a priority. Any advice on choosing between 15, 16e and 16? Do not want apple intelligence, so have been leaning toward 15, but if 16 is better in priority areas, then we'll "disable" it.
