I wish these things were more reliable. I know they will never equate to a "proper" massage, but I use my foot massager all the time and would love something more comprehensive.

The problem is they are all made by brands that sound like they won't be around tomorrow, and trying to figure out how they all differ is a massive undertaking.

Do not buy bonded leather - all it is is shredded leather scraps mixed with binders and prone to peeling and cracking and within a few years it will start falling apart not durable at all, especially if it's exposed to any natural light.

I know it's not the same, but this massager is great (and under $160 is a good deal):

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Comfie.../141080263

These are typically $200+. I don't have the app and it seems a little redundant with the remote, but I'm not sure what it does.

Anyway, amazing massager. My wife discovered it when visiting friends in Costa Rica and since then I have purchased two of them. We take it traveling with us (by car).

Good thing it is not bonded leather then. If you look at the specs, it is polyurethane similar to most other massage chairs. Unless you abuse it, nothing will happen to it.

I bought this years ago and loved it. Looking for another brand that's reputable. Looks like BB doesn't sell this brand anymore. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/i...J2FPJKYFK8

Anyone use the Chirp massager?

https://www.costco.com/p/-/chirp-...?langId=-1

$100 less and 2 extra rollers vs the Chirp site (currently $50 off there).

Is there a good enthusiast group to read which brands and models to consider?

I'm sure there's a subreddit for it.

I bought this chair 2 years ago. The chair still looks and functions as new. Needless to say, I am pleased with this chair.
