In for 1 for when I want to bake two loaves of bread at once. Don't want to pay for a second Staub, but not very excited about a baking with Chinese enamel at high temperatures. Got free shipping even though there is a Macy's about 5 miles away.

This is a good deal, and although I could get it shipped free, I would rather pick it up because some of the reviews state that (although it was wrapped well), it came chipped and I would rather look over it beforehand to verify no chips than have to return/exchange it later. Thanks!

This is the last act, right? No refunds or exchanges?

I didn't see that until you mentioned it. You're correct!

This looks like a good deal and love the color. However, I'm hesitating to pull the trigger on this deal because I can't find any information about potential heavy metal content in the enamel, which is a concern for lower quality brands that make enameled cast iron products (specifically lead and cadmium I believe are the main culprits of lower quality enamel cast iron).

Can't find anything on their website regarding this, would love to see if anyone knows about this brand or can point to any information they make public about this.

If you don't really care about this then please disregard this comment, but otherwise I might heed the wisdom that "you get what you pay for" and consider waiting for a deal on a more reliable brand that is transparent about heavy metal content or lack thereof in their products.

e.g. Caraway specifically mentions on their product pages that they test for a number of heavy metals and certain forever chemicals, Staub conducts testing on heavy metals and is Prop 65 compliant, Lodge is transparent about the types of metals used in each of their products, etc. Can't find anything about this brand though.

A decent amount of reviews state they came with chips in the enamel. So you can't exchange if that is the case since it is final sale?

Same. A Dutch oven is a BIFL. I'd rather spend a bit more.

So I received this dutch oven today...instructions say no high heat... use on low to medium heat.
I wanted it to cook bread in at 450 degrees. Anyone have any experience with using this in the oven at 450+ degrees?
