can't be beat for the price. much tamer than the rp-8000 series released before. to widen the sweet spot you can use extreme toe-in, check for time-intensity trading. creates a very good phantom center with very less demand on amplification.

Well "much tamer" is a stretch ime.
Might hear a slight difference side by side, other than that good luck.

It be more a perceived difference.

I bought a pair of the older version from adorama a couple years ago. They were packaged horrendously and looked like they'd been dropped out of the back of a plane. The packaging was totally destroyed and Adorama support was not good and every time I would try to contact them it was starting over from square one.
Anyways Klipsch shipped me replacement parts that I was able to put on myself for free - no thanks to Adorama.
I also bought a sub from them at the same time that came well packaged and was in immaculate condition.
Very happy with the speakers and would recommend pairing them with the klipsch center Chanel and 14" sub.

Isn't this $800 a pair half year ago from the same place?

I auditioned a pair of these when they were on sale for $800 a pair a while back. They sound phenomenal. One thing that's nice about these is you don't have to crank them loud for dynamic sound. You can, and they will rock! But they sound great at low volume, too. A lot of smaller and/or less efficient speakers can sound really good when crank them up to reference level, but sound neutered at lower listening levels.
I wound up returning because one of the speakers arrived with damaged feet. I probably could've fixed this, but really didn't need them, and the they were honestly too big for my living room space. But they impressed me. I think it would be very difficult to find anything better at this price.

I bought them at that price. It was back at the beginning of the year February/March. They'd hit that price a couple times prior, too, But that was before tariffs. I think $900 is the new sale price, at least for now.

Looking for suggestions or if anyone can point me to a good a/v forum. I have rf82 ii speakers and I'm thinking of downsizing. I wanna stick with Klipsch because my center speaker is same brand. Would any of their bookshelf speakers compare? I do have a 12" sub so not worried about bass output. TIA

I've been running the RP600M II's as my mains in the living room and they were a clear up grade over the old low end Klipsh towers I had there before.

They had a great deal back then. I picked these up as a set with two rears and a center channel along with an Integra DRX 9.2 receiver for $2300.

Are these good for listening to music? Or mainly HT?

I'm planning to pair them up with a WiiM amp for music... will I need a subwoofer too, if so any suggestions?

I missed the Black Friday deal with NOVE2521 but it looks like these are the same speakers from that deal.

to each his own, buddy. but i agree, it's subjective. i have a treated room, and in it the in room response is more neutral without the high treble. checks erins for the in room response curve. it's got less than 3db deviation across the band
