Have had the same issue. My husky busted 2 molars and it became a ffffkkking fiasco. I love that dog so much I was beside myself I gave her something she got hurt on.

Even when softening them up with microwaving and soaking it in water, this price for yak chews are longest lasting per $ in my experience with my 70 lb golden retriever mix. This may just be down to this not being my dog's favorite treat. It's very hit or miss as sometimes both microwaving and soaking in water, she still doesn't take it.

My dog loves these but it makes a big mess on the carpet. Additionally, he likes to go off and eat it in solitude like dogs do but they should be monitored for choking with this. I tried the microwave technique for the last-bits but the dog didn't want it.

Thanks our vizsla's love these to chew. Agree with others that they do leave little bits that can be a mess on carpet.

If they make a mess that means you got the soft ones. I know because I did the same thing one time. If you get the hard ones they don't make a mess.

By "mess" I mean a lot of dog saliva mixed with a few tiny pieces of the chew. Then, he'll get the pieces eventually by licking them into the carpet

Where does it say from China? An online search says Nepal bordering China
If you had clicked on the link you wouldn't have to ask. I was talking about the Dingo sticks.

My Heinz 57 mutt of a dog absolutely will not touch any Mongolian yak, even dipped in Grey Poupon, so I'm hoping this Himalayan yak is acceptable.

How does this make front page when I posted a deal at $13 per pound not that long ago and received zero traction? These sponsored staff posts are getting out of control

No, they are super hard. So are cow's knees. Don't get them either. I have the same problem-- mine reject most rawhide, even the chicken, beef or peanut butter basted ones. I've tried them all. The only ones they love are these, which are for smaller dogs, but my medium dogs are fine with them. They were about $8 until very recently: https://www.amazon.com/Wonder-Bou...r=8-6&th=1

I suggest monitoring your dog while eating them since they are so small. Note, they are from China.

I've also gotten these. Not nearly as hard as bones. The dogs like them, but they're not cheap. I got them originally on a sale for about $22. They don't last very long though, just a few minutes unless you have small dogs. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DG99Y...tle_3&th=1

There's always bully sticks, but they are very expensive.
I do bully sticks, with a bully stick holder so they don't choke on the end.
