Excellent deal. The convenience of having replacement parts available at any Lowe's store, makes the deal shine bright, even as the skeptics chirp about the quality.

They stopped carrting a lot of the loosies. Do they just swap out pieces from random sets if one breaks?

Project Farm just did a big review today on these sets on YouTube. Great comparison. This one was towards the bottom.

So, 242 pcs, of which 128 pcs are bits & allen keys... Not slick.

I think it was Gearwrench brand, or something like that.

They carry them. Just dropped the kobalt singles. They give you a craftsman instead of kobalt if breaks

I actually went to purchase two loose sockets I was missing and they were about 20 bucks and I saw this set and purchased it to keep on my Motorcycle workbench. It's not a bad deal in the sockets, etc., that you get the ability just to swap them out at Lowe's.

Bought this set earlier this year. I have a robust tool box in my garage. I wanted something that I could use in my woodshop which is on the other side of my property. It's definitely not a complete set, especially the wrenches, but the quality is top notch.

I have a $200 lowes store credit.. is there something better to spend it on on a value to cost ratio? i'm thinking about getting 2 of these and selling them on fb mp.

Also thinking about keeping one for my versastack setup. Has anyone left one out in the rain? did it retain water like my hart set did? I think should be safer on my verstack because it will be under another box.

part of the value in this is the versastack. whatever it's missing can be added to another box.

LOL I've been using this set for 30 years now, have done many simple jobs on my cars over that time (brakes, alternators, oil changes, etc.)
