They sound louder and have better noise cancellation probably because of the tighter fit in the ear but not really worth the upgrade if you already have some.

The sound profile is better to me (subjective I know), more trebely like an IEM without losing bass. Noise cancelation was great with the 2 and is superb with the 3. All of that felt worth it to me.
I use an apple watch for runs but the heart rate could be nice if you don't have one and track exercises.

Cheaper on target if you buy the target gift cards for 10% off and then use that to pay for the AirPods at $230. You'll end up paying $207+tax

BEWARE... There's a rather significant issue that Apple is currently still ignoring with these, that could perhaps be remedied in a firmware update. If the fit isn't absolutely PERFECT, when ANC is enabled, there will be this high pitch, super shrill noise that infiltrates every fiber of your being to the point of being borderline painful. I returned mine immediately and went back to the Pro 2s.

I have been out of the AirPod scene since the originals came out and saw they had now have noise cancellation so I just got the AirPod fours from target.

I put them on and they were loose but not tobaddddd untill I had to go to the bathroom and lost one in the sink....... I recovered it in time to dry it off an when I got home my wife reminded me why we have to old pairs with one ear bud a piece in each AirPod case.

So I ordered AirPod covers and they fit so much better but I can shut the case to charge them and it's only a matter of time until I lose one once again and add this case to the collection of cases with one EarPod each.

So I just want the basic AirPod pro if there is such a thing. I love the echo system of being able to answer calls by name and so of the things that competition doesn't have. Or do they? I would think not.

So I take it these are probally the cheapest I can go?

However in that short time frame I didn't enjoy the updates to the echo system of using Apple specific EarPods and they do come in handy at work and while on the road.

So I am returning these to target and will invest even more money into the Apple ear technology pool.

Which I guess would be the Apple AirPod pros. These looks like they have adjustable sizes and are not one side for the perfect ear while which I don't have.

Not that I don't believe it's happening to you, but there's always something some people would complain about every single new AirPods, yet majority of customers have zero issues.

If you search "AirPods Pro 3 high pitch" you will find several threads across the internet about people having this issue, which originated on the original Pros but were a non-issue with the Pro 2s. A poster on the Apple forums said that after speaking to a rep at Apple they've now officially acknowledged this issue as of December 4th, and are working on a fix. So fingers crossed, because the sound genuinely HURTS when it happens.🤞🏼

Also, if my intention was to bash Apple and steer people away from AirPods why would I also state that I went back to my Pro 2s?

My pro 2's did the same thing. Very high pitch shrill. I leave ANC off and they don't screech anymore.

Can you buy Costco stuff if you don't have a membership? There's only a Sam's Club where I live so not really worth renewing an old subscription.

SO GLAD I didn't end up selling my Pro 2s before the 3s arrived!👏🏼
