Is buying a digital game like buying a digital movie from Amazon? They can take it back from your device anytime they choose to? I'm old and am used to physical copies of things

I usually buy physical games, and I have no problem buying Mario Kart digital. It's a game that should always be available. With that said, I have never heard of Nintendo revoking a digital license for their own games. Some third party games are removed from the digital store and can no longer be downloaded. You could probably look back at how the 3DS and Wii/Wii U shops closed down, but they still let you play your downloaded games.

Well look at it this way. I rather switch 20-30 digital games than physically get up and find the right cartridge to swap out. The chance of a them revoking your digital rights is extremely unlikely to happen.

True, but not sure you can sell a digital game line you can a physical cartridge.

If you plan to resell then make an alternative Nintendo account and sell entire system with the games later. I never bother with it.

Doesn't Sam's Club or Costco usually add something since it requires a membership to buy? Otherwise everyone else is selling is for the same price.

Plenty of retailers offering it @ $450. The real deal right now is getting target gift cards at 10% off then using it to buy this making it effectively $405+Tax.

Why? You can get it practically anywhere else for this price.
