Had the smaller version of this. It was great until it broke right after the warranty period ended. I don't think the filters are washable but you'd have to double check that

For what it's worth, the one time I got a refurbished Dyson fan, it looked like someone found it dumpster diving. It had scuffs and scratches all over it, and even the sticker tag on the power cable had a bunch of hair and carpet fibers stuck all over it. It was super gross, and went right back after their support refused to do anything for me.

If you dig through older Dyson threads on SD, you will see that it's their description of "Like new" items. So not surprised that they still do it.
