What exactly is so "bad" about it?

What's underwhelming? It's probably the best phone on the market right now.

Community Reviews

This bundle pairs a Pixel 9 with a Pixel Watch 2 LTE and an official case, and the standout value comes from stacking extra discounts. The 10 percent Google code and PayPal or card cashback can pull the price down sharply, with some orders landing around $419 to $459. The main catch is that the code behavior is finicky, sometimes reverting to full price or requiring checkout workarounds, and the 128 gigabyte storage feels tight for a phone at this level. It is a stronger fit if the discount stack works and cloud storage is not a concern.

How quick could I get a coupon for one of my 6a I wonder?
I think that coupon would not work with 10% off which i am seeing in this thread.
So, my math:
Get cash for 6a: $100.
Use 10% coupon: $80.
Total benefit: $180.

If getting coupon for 6a:
Coupon for 6a: $150.
Additional coupon: NA.
Total benefit: $150.

10% coupon math is wrong; it's 10% of $499.

To add to my previous question, I tried to add this and it just tells me to add a notification when it's ready, it won't actually let me add it to my cart.
Me too...

Your order was canceled because it doesn't align with our Sales Terms.

You can buy Pixel 10 128 Gb from Google Fi for 400$. Pay 80$ in service for 4 months to get it unlocked. So 480$ will get you an unlocked Pixel 9, vs 500$ for a previous-gen Pixel 9 and Pixel Watch 2.

After owning the pixel 9 and then the iPhone 17 , they are very close in terms of actual user experience, both are great

In fact I would argue that the pixel has the better camera for photos

They wont be that close after 2-3 years. The iPhone will keep rocking while pixel will feel outdated and sluggish!!

agreed, iphone 17 gets hot less often, and runs games way faster with more efficiency+ the longevity you mentioned

Bought a 9 when it was only the phone for $499. Would it be worth reaching out to Google to see if they'll add this stuff post-order?
I did, and they just got back to me asking me to go ahead and order the watch and case. They will issue me a refund once I provide them the order ID.

Initially they asked me to return the original order, and place a new order.

update: they refunded me for the watch and case orders

I don't understand why people will buy this and not the Samsung S25 Ultra with free earpods3 pro for under $500 after coupons and cashback? I guess people like inferior crappy phones from google.

This is a great deal, especially stacking the 10% coupon code. In some ways the Pixel 9 (better main cameras from the 9/10 Pro series, gpu, physical sim slot) is better than the 10.
