I got this last time it was on super sale, $100 IIRC and it's been great, I actually prefer it over our le creuset.

The staub is lighter, though it has slightly less capacity at 4tq vs 4.3 qt. The enamel is better on the staub, whereas the one from Amazon has a higher chance of cracking and chipping.
The Amazon enamel is lighter colored, so easier to see fond and how a cooks is progressing vs being more difficult to see with the black Staub.

This is the best price currently for the Staub, it's $150 everywhere else. This had been an sale for years at $99, so much for tariffs

If you have a library card, you can get access to consumer reports for enamel cast iron Dutch ovens. Staub performs poorly, le creuset a bit better but cheaper ones were at the top including merten & storck.

Wait a second. Is there a 5 quart? You need a little extra size.

If you are buying into the lifetime warranty of other pot products, just know, that they can deny you.

Bought the cherry one of these at Saks a couple years back for $99. It's a berry high quality piece of cookware and still looks brand new. Can easily go from the stove to the oven. It's $149 everywhere else so i this is a good price

4 quart is kind of a specialty size. Most people us at least a 6 quart as a standard size. Not very practical for most applications.
