If you use your email to subscribe to HP, you get a $20 off $65 purchase coupon.
Also, once in a while, they would send a 10% coupon for $599 or more purchase.

The 10% coupon expires in a month after they give it to you.

I used to create a new email acct every month to subscribe to HP, Lenovo and Dell. So that I always have a $20 coupon handy and other coupons. Lenovo gives you a few rewards dollars in their "earn rewards" section. Dell used to give you $15 for signing up. Since I rarely make a purchase, I stop doing that.

The lightness of this computer is almost unbelievable, if you value that for portability with low cost and decent processor/graphics this is a fantastic machine.

I decided to go with the Omnibook X with the Snapdragon for battery life without having to carry a charger, it is also cheaper refurb on eBay (~$400)

Did you just sign up for a new account or was there a link to subscribe to offers? I couldn't find anything on the hp site.

Really good, mine came with no cosmetic defects or marks, I ran the battery report (CMD powercfg /batteryreport /output "C:\battery-report.html") and it showed the battery had 2 cycles on it (typical lifespan is 500 cycles before battery decay starts), which I take to mean the battery is in perfect condition and the laptop was never really used

I have the Ryzen 5 version of this laptop, I can second that the battery can last a full day if used for word and web browsing. I also set the limit on the CPU to 65% when on battery in the power plan settings and set the power button to hibernate instead of sleep. The performance is still plenty for word and web browser with the 65% max. If I'm only using it for 1 to 2 hours a day of light tasks, the hibernate mode helps it last for almost the whole week without a charge.
