Not a fan of men's shoes that have high heels. It's surprising how many are doing this now, at first it was just the yeezy type shoes but now all brands have designs with it. What's the appeal? It's not function, because you can achieve the same without adding an inch to your height..

The nike flex run is marketed as a running shoe. While more casual than a true running shoe by today's standards, most runners will land on their heels first, rather than their midfoot or forefoot. Nike caters to the majority of runners, so their running shoes tend to have a higher stack height in the heel.

They aren't high heels dude. The sides just go higher they still are low top runners. Your foot lays below the top of the white sole

I didn't say they are high heels, rather they have high heels. Which is objectively the case as your heel is separated from the ground by some distance significantly larger than any average running shoe of the past few decades.

I'm not saying shoes need flat bottoms where your sole is basically flush with the ground, but I also don't think your whole worldview should ship upward when you step into your shoes. It's weird.

These look similar to my Flex Experience and based on this review [runrepeat.com] they have the same drawbacks of having a slippery outsole and can get small pebbles stuck that are hard to dislodge. These are decent for daily use and short distances but long-distance walkers/runners (who don't need a minimalist experience) should stick to something with more cushion.
