Maybe I'm wrong, but buying directly from them gives you a 90-day warranty versus two years going through their eBay store? Seems better to spend $50 more for 21 more months of warranty.

In for 1. Got the coupon to work.

Upgrading from the XM5.

Immediately after buying they offered a second pair for $200. I didn't buy but FYI for others. I paid $224.99 plus tax.
did they share a link to buy second one? wondering if i can use that somehow.

The two negatives i heard on sony is that they are too bass heavy and lose balanced sound due to that.
And that the ear cups get too warm for long use.

I am hesitant on buying this for these two reasons, but for others these may not be a big deal.

How did people get the 10% code to work? Any special steps you followed?

I had the code emailed to me, but the checkout page just wouldn't accept it.

I created a new account with Secondipity with an email address I had not used with them before. About 10 minutes later they emailed the code and it worked perfectly, no issues.

It wasn't so much a link as it was a pop up page immediately after I completed the purchase transaction. But it was rather deceptive. It was unclear that I had completed the initial transaction until I closely inspected the fine print at the top of the page that popped up. What it really looked like was that the purchase had not been completed and they were offering me a further discounted price. I was skeptical and did my due diligence, and determined that my initial purchase had indeed been completed (again, fine print at the top). I suspect many people accidently buy the second pair based on the screen and offer that appears.
I closed out of that screen so don't have anything to share with you.

I found a 10% off coupon on some random website that worked for a pair of XM4s. Final price was $135 after tax.
Could you please share the code

The same happened to me. I was presented an offer to buy a black one at $200 with 2 minute countdown. When I tried to see if I could cancel my original order, the offer abruptly closed, and it's nowhere to be found now.

Go to Secondipity website, look for a red indicator on the lower left side maybe on the preferences icon or chat or for the stay informed and save big pop up, they should send a 10% off code email

I bought a pair of these a few weeks ago from them through Ebay. Looked new and included everything. However, I found them to feel extremely cheap and they were uncomfortable (especially on the headband) and I returned them.

I found them to feel a lot more premium than my XM3 / XM4, especially in the platinum color I bought. For me not as comfy yet as the XM4 but close. Everyone's head / ears are different.

Maybe one day Sony will figure out the hinges. They are still an issue with these.
