FYI These are like really bad shoes. Don't expect them to last.

These have cleats that lock you into the pedals for more efficient full circle pedaling. (you can pull up on the pedals). They also have hard soles so you can put full pressure on them, unlike tennis shoes.

Peloton shoes are garbage. If you want a great pair of budget spin shoes, look for Venzo. I got my first pair on Amazon, but they sell out fast. Bought 2nd pair on ebay.

I don't cycle, but I am curious for those in the know... for a stationary bike, what is the advantage of special shoes? Why wouldn't you just use normal tennis shoes?

Many photos on Amazon of the soles separating from the shoe. Buy a real cycling shoe instead.

These are super comfortable and light. I like them a lot more than the standards Peloton shoes. I paid $38 a couple months back and have enjoyed them. Would never pay full price.

Never had peloton bike but seems like the cleat holes should fit normal cycling cleats? IDK if you can get basic cycling shoes for $50 unless you get em from aliexpress. I guess these are more rated for indoor use but should be fine as long as it's not raining.

These are exclusively for indoor use. They are studded for Look Delta cleats, SPD cleat i believe is more common I believe. I kept my eye out for Nike SuperRep for my wife, they have held up great. That being said I am on year 5 of my (included) peloton cycling shoes and they are just fine.
