Do a Google search for "Amazon comingled inventory". Amazon promised to stop doing this sometime in the future, but they didn't give an exact date.

Amazon is **currently** the only seller for this particular product, so maybe it is not impacted by commingling with counterfeits.

I only need it for AirTags and the Amazon ones have never failed me and last long for our use. These are twice the cost normally it seems unless I need it in some mission critical device, not worth it unless it's on sale like this. That is also what copilot SI responded with. Also said if we really wanted to save, Sony batteries in bulk are cheaper lol

Get the off brand at Dollar Tree store. They have high turnovers. So you know their batteries are fresh. I put them on my keys and garage opener years ago. They still going strong.

I generally assume commonly counterfeited products like this are a coin flip at being genuine on amazon.

I found that any major brands coin batters are fine as long as they are not counterfeit. Fakes are almost everywhere if you shopping online so i usually buy mine from b&m stores - Costco , Sam club, WM, BB., even Harbor Freight thunderbolt brand way batter then any counterfeit pos...
