He is saying it's low quality but worth another $10. Some things can be assumed/deduced/understood from the context of the statement and doesn't have to be spelled out.

Huh, never heard of them, 6 reviews on their page. $70 for a duffle bag, ehhhh
$70 is an excellent deal for a 75L cotton canvas duffel even from a no-name brand. Cotton canvas is much more expensive than nylon that is the predominant material for duffels and backpacks.
My concern is whether the interior lining is also cotton. I want the bag to be 100% natural material to reduce microplastic exposure.
Also, non-natural materials from luggage frequently evoke CA Prop 65 for a number of reasons such as PFAs used in the water repellent. Luggage is one of the most Prop 65 sensitive (carcinogenic) product categories.
My other issue with the bag is that it is not u shaped opening. No u shaped opening is always a pain to get stuff out of.
ETA: This bag has DWR with a ripstop tartan liner. No go for me. It will still look classier than a nylon bag but not safer or more eco friendly in terms of chemicals
