I actually bought both computers. They are Christmas presents so I'm going to wait to see if a better deal comes around as well.

If the motherboard on the Ultra 5 has PCIe 5.0, then definitely that one.

Otherwise, the i7 will be slightly better for gaming (the processor — can't speak for the rest of the system because I haven't looked).

Just remember to have the BIOS update ready even before you boot into Windows the first time, because the i7 is on the affected list and there is guaranteed to be a newer fix out than what it comes with.
