Every Year I make a photo book with all the 8x10's I got free throughout the year (This year it was 21 and counting). I place it on the shelf and take it out when I want to give my phone a break. I like looking at the pictures better than browsing them on my phone. Thanks Walgreens and CVS.

my guess is it's a loss leader to invite in other business, either in the store itself while you're there or sending paid print jobs to them since you're already in their system with photos uploaded. I know I've personally had a few paid print jobs done by them. same with CVS but I've specifically been sending paid jobs to my local walgreen's because my local CVS printer colors seem a little off and sometimes has lines/streaks.

On the desktop/browser site, when you go to upload pictures the is an option in the lower right corner to select higher resolution uploads. You have to select it before uploading, so remove any pics if you forget to change the setting prior. The setup is almost identical for both Walgreens and CVS. HTH!
