Got the black one on Cyber Monday. Box was sealed but toothbrush looked kind of dirty. If you read recent Amazon reviews, everyone seems to have gotten with same issue. People think it means it's counterfeit. Is that possible? Does seem to work.

I bought it during cyber monday and had the exact same experience. Returning it. Also because I mistook it to be iO.
Older tech and not compatible with iO.
If you are in the market for one. Check out Walgreens and all their offers on Oral B brushes. I picked up Series 5 for effectively 60$

Oral-B iO has newer magnetic motor and a smoother feel than the Genius X and they much quieter.

Just got the iO and I hate it. The brush heads are thick and make me slobber all over. Maybe I'll try this seems it looks like it has the older style thinner heads.
